No-one really likes a chatterbox, and after some time, people stop listening to them. But if you notice, it’s the quiet ones that get full attention when they finally do speak :) So observe silence and some quietness (unless you have something good to say) and you will soon inculcate wisdom into your character.
"And the forerunners, the forerunners -Those are the ones brought near [to Allah ] (Al Muqarraboon), In the Gardens of Pleasure, A [large] company of the former peoples, And a few of the later peoples…" Surah al Waqiah, ayaat 10-14
“The Good and the Wise Lead Quiet Lives”
Try to develop an observant character; look, listen and think before acting or speaking. This is character-building and allows you to absorb and benefit from your surroundings before adding to it.

In the Heart There is a Void…“Truly in the heart there is a void that cannot be removed except with the company of Allah, And in it there is a sadness that cannot be removed except with the happiness of knowing Allah and being true to Him. And in it there is an emptiness that cannot be filled except with love from Him and by turning to Him and always remembering Him. And if a person were given all of the world and what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness.” by Ibn Al Qayyim rahimahullah
